Recognize This Guy? Deputies Want To Find Him In Connection With North County Thefts

The man is a suspect in the theft of two expensive iPads from a Solana Beach Store.

SOLANA BEACH, CA -- Authorities sought today a brazen thief who ran off with two pricy iPads from an AT&T store in Solana Beach.

Images of the suspect in the theft of a silver iPad Air 2 and gold iPad mini 4 from the cell phone store in the Solana Beach Town Center on Solana Hills Drive, just south of Lomas Santa Fe, were captured on surveillance video.

The man ran off with the tablets while an employee was assisting a customer around 5 p.m. Monday, according to sheriff's department bulletin.

Sheriff's officials said the two devices were worth about $1,200.
