On Thursday, October 28th, at approximately 2100 hours, the Sheriff's Transit Enforcement Unit was dispatched to an incident regarding a train versus pedestrian strike that occurred at the Oceanside Transit Station located at 195 S. Tremont Street, in the city of Oceanside.  At approximately 2049 hours, a northbound Metrolink Train had departed the Oceanside Transit Station when a Black male adult had been reportedly struck by the train.  The male suffered serious injuries and was life flighted to Scripps Mercy Hospital.  There were no witnesses on scene.
