Spring Trimming on Girard

Traffic slowed and shoppers on the sidewalk stopped to watch crews remove a tall eucalyptus tree near and on Girard Avenue Thursday morning.

Crews removed the tree piece by piece before cutting it up,loading it onto a truck and hauling it away. You could smell the tree for a few blocks.
