What Are The Best Foodie Cities In California?
A new report ranked the best and worst foodie cities in the country. Do you agree with the rankings?

Love good food? Then California is one of the best places to be. Three California cities were ranked among the top 10 best in the country for foodies by the personal finance website WalletHub, with one city from the Golden State topping the list.
The Best Foodie Cities in America list compared more than 180 of the largest U.S. cities across 24 key metrics of foodie-friendliness. The rankings also expanded upon the term "foodie." According to WalletHub, "foodie culture" isn't limited to gourmet dining. It includes affordable food and food purchased at the grocery store.
San Francisco came in as the best foodie city in the country, according to WalletHub. Portland, New York, Los Angeles and Miami rounded out the top five.

San Francisco tied for first in the most breweries and wineries, as well as the most coffee shops per capita. The city ranked fourth in the most gourmet speciality-food stores per capita and fifth in the number of restaurants per capita.
Los Angeles, which ranked fourth on the list overall, ranked first in the affordability and accessibility of highly-rated restaurants, third in gourmet specialty-food stores per capita and fifth in coffee shops per capita.

San Diego was also ranked among the top 10 best foodie cities, landing in the ninth spot. America's Finest City tied for first in the most breweries and wineries per capita.
