Our Chargers: We start a new season with high hopes, but we know nothing till after the first regular game. Now that it's over, here is what we know: we have no run or pass defense, and the Special Teams unit is weak. On defense, we are much slower than our opposition. even their tight ends are faster than our deep backs. On offense, Rivers either throws deep or hands the ball off to a running back. There is no imagination on offense; no crossing or sideline patterns, few screen passes or timing patterns. Worst of all is that we sat on a lead and played the infamous "Martyball:".  if this pattern continues we will have a long and unhappy season.
