Woman Knocked To Floor In Ocean Beach Home-Invasion

OCEAN BEACH, CA – Two men barged into a woman's residence Thursday night in Ocean Beach, but left empty-handed, police said.

The 69-year-old victim said she was answering a knock at her front door at about 11:22 p.m., and as she began to open the door, the intruders pushed it open, knocking her to the floor at the home on the 4900 block of West Point Loma Boulevard, the San Diego Police Department said.

The suspects rummaged through the victim's cabinets and then fled out the front door in an unknown direction without taking anything, police said.

The males were wearing black sweatsuits and were described as black, in their 20s, thin, 6 feet tall and with short hair. Robbery detectives are investigating the incident, the department said.
