Woman Struck, Killed By Armored Truck In La Jolla
The woman, who was dragged by the Garda armored truck, was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
LA JOLLA, CA – A 30-year-old woman was struck by an armored truck and killed Tuesday in the parking lot of a La Jolla shopping center.
The collision was reported just after 5 p.m. at the La Jolla Village Square in the 8600 block of Villa La Jolla, according to San Diego police Officer John Buttle.
The woman, who was dragged by the Garda armored truck, was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead, Buttle said.

The vehicle's driver stopped and was cooperating in the investigation into what led to the fatal collision, Buttle said.
