1 Critically Injured In Ramona Expressway Collision

SAN JACINTO, CA — Cal Fire/Riverside County Firefighters rushed to the scene of a Ramona Expressway crash in San Jacinto, Tuesday, where one person suffered critical injuries.

Shortly before 10:15 a.m., firefighters and emergency officials were called to the crash scene at the intersection of Warren Road and the Ramona Expressway. The details were still unfolding as of this report, but at least one person was trapped inside a vehicle as a result of the incident.

"Crews were able to extricate the single patient and transport them to an area hospital in critical condition," the department shared. No other information was immediately available.

At least one lane of the road was closed for an extended period of time during a follow-up Riverside County Sheriff's Department investigation.
