2 Arrested During Lake Elsinore Drug Bust

Investigations are still looking for information from the public regarding the raid last month in the 15000 block of Marcolesco Street.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Law enforcement officials are looking for information from the public on an ongoing narcotics investigation in Lake Elsinore.

At 6 a.m. on Sept. 30, a search warrant was served in the 15000 block of Marcolesco Street by members of the Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force, the Perris/Lake Elsinore Regional Gang Task Force, the Lake Elsinore Special Enforcement Team/Problem Oriented Policing Team, and two Riverside Sheriff Department K-9 units.

Nine people were detained during the raid, and officials found approximately 3 ounces of methamphetamine, heroin, several hundred illegal controlled substance pills (M-30s), along with a rifle, a handgun, ammunition and $1,600 in cash, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Two suspects — Brian Morgan, 30, and Zandra Gibson, 26 — were arrested on various felony charges related to weapons, narcotics and probation violations, according to the sheriff's department.

Two other suspects were arrested on misdemeanor charges and a felony filing was being added against another person, the department said.
