2 Arrested In Wildomar Armed Robbery, Slated To Answer Charges Friday
Weeks after a business on Clinton Keith Road was robbed by men at gunpoint, two men were arrested on suspicion of the crime.

WILDOMAR, CA — Two men suspected of robbing a Clinton Keith business at gunpoint were arrested this week after an extensive Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station investigation, that department said.
Brandon Monroe, 39, and Joshua Morek, 45—both of Hemet— were arrested Tuesday, according to Sgt. Jarrod Meissen. Each was transported to the Cois Byrd Detention Center, where they were booked on pending charges of armed robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery, according to jail records.
On March 19, shortly before 9:15 p.m., deputies arrived at the scene of an armed robbery in progress at a Wildomar business, said. A business in the 23000 block of Clinton Keith Road in Wildomar was being robbed by a masked man, brandishing a firearm and demanding money from an employee.

Meissen said that the suspect ran to a nearby vehicle and fled the scene at a high speed. An investigation by the Lake Elsinore Station's Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) and Special Enforcement Team (SET), as well as Monroe and Morek, were identified as the prime suspects.
"On Tuesday, April 3, 2024, RBST and SET deputies served two residential search warrants connected to the suspects," Meissen said. "During the search warrant service, Monroe and Morek were taken into custody without incident, and additional evidence was located and subsequently seized."
