2 Found Shot Dead In Corona Home, ID'd By Coroner

Details are limited related to the deadly shooting, but coroner's officials publicly identified the victims on Tuesday.

CORONA, CA — Authorities Tuesday identified two men found shot to death in a Corona home.

The shooting was reported about 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Roosevelt Street, near Cresta Road, according to Corona police.

Edgar Jones, 73, and Gregory Franklin Jr., 41, both of Corona were found dead at the scene, the Riverside County coroner's office reported.

Homicide detectives took over the investigation and determined that no suspects were at large, according to a police statement. But police did not say how Jones and Franklin were killed.
