2 Sisters Arrested In Perris Killing

It's not clear what led investigators to the two sisters, but the sheriff's department said the incident was a homicide.

PERRIS, CA — Two Perris sisters were behind bars in connection with a man's death early Thursday morning.

Twenty-four-year-old Jessica Taylor Bratschi and her 19-year-old sister, Erica Nicole Bratschi, were arrested around 8 a.m. on N. Perris Boulevard. They are being held at Southwest Detention Center in lieu of $80,000 bail each and are due in court Monday.

Jail records show the women were booked on suspicion of voluntary manslaughter and being under the influence of a controlled substance. She is due in court Monday.

Their arrests came after deputies from the Perris Station responded around 12:19 a.m. to the 400 block of Wilkerson Avenue in Perris to an assault with a deadly weapon call. Deputies found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. Despite efforts to save him, the man died from his injuries at the scene, according to the sheriff's department.

The man's identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
