200 Homes, 73 Condos Approved For Lake Elsinore

In a unanimous vote Tuesday night, the Lake Elsinore Planning Commission gave a green light to Pardee Homes to move forward on construction of 200 single-family homes and a 73-unit condominium project in Canyon Hills.

The housing project will feature four different design styles with residences ranging in size from 1,306-square-foot, single-story, three-bedroom homes to 2,256-square-foot, two-story, four-bedroom homes. The project is located off Canyon Hills Road to the north and Cottonwood Canyon Road to the west.

The condo project will feature detached units ranging in size from two-bedroom 1,628-square-foot units to four-bedroom 1,919-square-foot units. All will have two-car garages. The development features three design styles and is expected to see units priced below $200,000.

The condominiums will be located on the north side of Canyon Hills Road, west of Hillside Drive.

Both the condo and housing projects will incorporate Pardee’s LivingSmart design elements, which feature a number of environmentally friendly characteristics.
