5 Arrested at Sobriety, Driver's License Checkpoint in Perris
Twenty-six vehicles were stored or impounded during the checkpoint and 14 drivers were cited and released.

An overnight sobriety/driver’s license checkpoint in Perris netted five arrests, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said Sunday.
Perris resident Jerry Beasley, 43, was arrested on a felony warrant for being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition and Hemet resident Eugene Pamilton, 23, was arrested on a felony warrant for a parole violation during the checkpoint, according to a news statement from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Also, 37 drivers were cited and then released for a operating a vehicle while unlicensed, during the checkpoint at Ramona Expressway and Brennan that began at 7 p.m. Saturday and ended Sunday at 2 a.m. One motorist was arrested for drug possession and two motorists were arrested for drunken driving.
