5 Displaced In Lake Elsinore-Area House Fire

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Flames severely damaged a house in an unincorporated area near Lake Elsinore Saturday.

The fire was reported at 5:55 p.m. Saturday in the 28000 block of Haygood Way, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

There was heavy smoke and fire showing from the single-story house when firefighters arrived, fire officials said. The flames were out at 6:21 p.m.

The American Red Cross was called to the scene to help find housing for five displaced residents, officials said.

No injuries were reported.
