"Be advised that the availability of alternate routes within this area of SR 74 my change —
meaning, the construction zone will change nightly resulting in some areas not having
access to Orange County or Lake Elsinore, and vice versa," Caltrans reported.
"Use caution and expect delays during construction hours. Law enforcement will be on the scene to assist with traffic control. Remember to reduce your speed in and surrounding
the work zone. Be advised, weather may affect construction schedule," the agency continued.
The shutdowns are due to ongoing construction work as part of the $49 million state Route 74 lane widening project.
