LAKE ELSINORE, CA — The Lake Elsinore City Council has approved a plan to construct six industrial buildings that will complete the Fairway Business Park development near the Interstate 15/Highway 74 interchange.

During its regularly scheduled Jan. 11 meeting, City Council unanimously approved the design and construction of the buildings ranging in size from 12,000-42,000 square feet. Council Member Steve Manos was absent.

The buildings will sit on nearly 9 acres at the south end of Birch Street, near Chaney Street, and will total 149,500 square feet with 254 parking spaces, according to city documents.

The project applicant is Rod Oshita of Fairway Commercial Partners, Inc.

Oshita told the council that once the business park is fully built-out with the new buildings, the center will bring jobs and attract companies to Lake Elsinore. He also said Chaney Street will be widened in the area.
