A WILDOMAR SOLUTION FOR INCREASED FIRE PROTECTION

There is a current proposal approved by the Riverside County Board of Supervisors to spend $175,000 of the existing $212,000 Fire Facilities Development Impact Fees (DIF) to add  one bedroom and upgrade the existing bathroom and HVAC system utilizing a portion of the existing apparatus bay. Wildomar will be able to house more personnel but less equipment with this improvement to Fire Service. This upgrade is to be paid for utilizing the current $750 per Dwelling Unit DIF which the City Council is proposing to lower to $434.72 per Dwelling Unit. I guess the next improvement will be to place fire personnel in a mobile home or maybe a tent.
