Lake Elsinore's Main Street Undergoing Construction Work, Detours In Place

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Construction work is underway on Main Street in Lake Elsinore through early next month, and shutdowns are in place.

The work began Monday "as part of ongoing improvements in the downtown area," according to city statement posted to social media.

Main Street will be closed at Sumner Avenue and Franklin Street during construction hours — 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily through July 3. Detour routes are in place.

"Please plan ahead and allow extra travel time," the city's statement read.

Work being conducted near Main Street and Lakeshore Drive is not expected to impact traffic flow, according to the city.
