LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station arrested one woman suspected of being part of a ring of beauty product thefts, the department announced.
On July 1, deputies arrived at the 18000 block of Collier Avenue, in the city of Lake Elsinore, regarding a theft of beauty products.
"The investigation revealed that earlier that same day, two additional locations within Riverside County had similar thefts involving similar beauty products being stolen with a value exceeding $10,000," said Sgt. Jarrod Meissen.
Alexandra Boboaca, a 23-year-old resident of Artesia, was identified as the suspect and a warrant was served in the 19000 block of Grayland Avenue, in the city of Artesia, Los Angeles County, that same day.
"The stolen beauty products were recovered at that location," Meissen said.
Boboaca was arrested and was being held at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility. She was expected to appear in court at the Murrieta Southwest Justice Center Tuesday to answer charges of burglary, grand theft, and organized retail theft.
This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional details are available. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Deputy Marshall at the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station at (951) 245–3300.
