RivCo Blaze Destroys RV, Spreads To Vegetation: Cal Fire

MEAD VALLEY, CA — A blaze that erupted inside an RV Friday afternoon in Mead Valley destroyed the trailer and spread to surrounding brush, fire officials said.

The fire was reported around 4:20 p.m. at a property in the 20000 block of Fox Street, about two miles west of the 215 Freeway, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

Officials said multiple engine crews responded to the fire and encountered flames raging in the RV, which spread to nearby vegetation.

Firefighters established hose lays, confining the brush fire to less than an acre, officials said.

The fire inside the trailer was knocked down just before 5 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
