JURUPA VALLEY, CA — A person was killed Sunday morning during a fiery, two-vehicle crash on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Jurupa Valley, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 5:10 a.m. on the westbound freeway, just east of Pedley Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash involved a blue Chevrolet Malibu and a white Nissan, which caught fire.
A dog was discovered inside the white Nissan. The condition of the dog was not known.
A representative from the coroner's office was called out to the location at 5:51 a.m.
There was no other immediate information available.
