MENIFEE, CA — A ribbon-cutting ceremony marked a new beginning for Santa Rosa Academy after school officials unveiled a new 29,000-square-foot, state of the art building for students and the community.
Superintendent Dr. Robert Hennings was on hand as school officials toured the facility known as Monterey Hall with the community on Monday. The facility includes a video and music room, sound system, a grand piano, a theater, and more.
"For more than 20 years, Santa Rosa Academy has been a valued part of Menifee, and we're honored to be part of this special milestone," city officials said on Tuesday.
Though the facility is mostly intended for K-12 students to perform, school officials said they hope the new theater will be used to also host community events in the future.
