PERRIS, CA — Four people were arrested Wednesday after authorities conducted a sex offender parole and probation compliance check at multiple locations in Perris, authorities said.
Authorities conducted a joint investigation with state parole and Riverside County Probation Department personnel in compliance checks at 32 locations involving 45 registrants to ensure they were following the terms of their sex offender registration requirements, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities arrested 36-year-old Kauel Evan, 54-year-old Phillip McKeehan, 64-year-old Steven Hester, and 33-year-old Edgardo Ramirez, all residents of Perris.
Evans, McKeehan, and Hester were all arrested on suspicion of violating the terms of parole.
Ramirez was arrested on suspicion of violating post-release community supervision terms and on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
