Gymnast Parkours Into RivCo In-N-Out To Save Workers From Customer Rampage: Video

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — What started out as a violent confrontation at a Lake Elsinore In-N-Out became a viral video moment for the chain.

Earlier this week, a disgruntled customer at the In-N-Out Burger on Dexter Avenue in Lake Elsinore threatened workers who allegedly "did not prepare her burger fast enough," according to a witness. What happened next was caught on camera by a woman waiting for her order in the drive-thru line.

"I was next in line. I was looking at my phone, then I heard someone yelling, 'Get the F-- out of there!'" Instagrammer Sweet.as.a.p said. "He was yelling through the window."

The next thing she noticed was that no one was in the kitchen — just a woman armed with a large stick or mop handle with a sharp edge.

"Then (the driver in front of me) does this Spider-Man or Jackie Chan move, feet first through the open window, and he starts battling this lady who had run all the employees into a back room with her stick," Instagrammer Sweet as P said in her video. "She was mad they didn't make her burger fast enough? This kid totally saved the day."

"I just heard banging, super loud banging inside the lobby, and saw this lady smashing what looked like a baseball bat around," he told KTLA about the incident.

Opperman, whose Instagram is full of reels of his gymnastic ability on trampolines and flips, lunged through the window parkour-style, then grabbed a spatula, ending the attack.

He told KTLA that he "didn't feel intimidated" and was just doing what he could to protect others in the moment.

"If I didn't step in right there and then, I knew that somebody would have gotten hurt," he said.

Sweet as P added a challenge to the restaurant, saying, "In-N-Out, you should give this kid burgers for Life."
