Seven Arrested In Southwest Riverside County Retail Theft Bust

Police conducted an operation on Perris Boulevard in an attempt to address retail theft in the area.

PERRIS, CA — Seven people were arrested as part of a retail theft operation in Perris, authorities said Saturday.

The operation was conducted Friday in the 1800 block of Perris Boulevard in an attempt to address retail theft in the area.

Those arrested were allegedly observed stealing merchandise by deputies assigned to the Robbery Burglary Suppression Team and Special Enforcement Team at the Riverside County Sheriff's Department's Perris station.

The following suspects were arrested during the operation, according to the sheriff's department:

-- Emmit Love, 45-year-old resident of Perris, arrested for grand theft and petty theft with priors.

-- Francisco Gonzalez, 33-year-old resident of Homeland, arrested for probation violation and burglary.

-- Carballo Iber, 18-year-old resident of Nuevo, arrested for petty theft.

-- Wendy Mejia, 23-year-old resident of Perris, arrested for petty theft and conspiracy.

-- Samantha Casas, 19-year-old resident of Perris, arrested for petty theft and conspiracy.

-- Jazmin Davila, 41-year-old resident of Perris, arrested for petty theft with priors.

-- Gregory Warwick, 34-year-old resident of Perris, arrested for grand theft, petty theft with priors and probation violation.
