Crews Battle Blaze At Property In Riverside County: Cal Fire

GREEN ACRES, CA — Crews contained a blaze that broke out Thursday afternoon at a residence in Green Acres, fire officials said.

The fire was reported at 1:14 p.m. in the 26500 block of Cortrite Avenue, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The agency said firefighters responded to the scene and encountered smoke coming from a two-story garage. The blaze extended into a travel trailer and a single-story residence, fire officials said.

The fire was contained at 2:05 p.m. but resources will remain at the scene for about three hours, the agency said.

No injuries were reported and no residents were displaced by the blaze, fire officials said.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
