54-Year-Old Man Killed In Crash At RivCo Intersection: Sheriff

SAN JACINTO, CA — A 54-year-old man was killed early Friday morning in a crash at an intersection in San Jacinto, authorities said.

Alex Mancia-Caceres of Hemet was fatally injured just before 2:30 a.m. near the Ramona Expressway and Seventh Street, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies responded to the scene and located a vehicle that sustained damage. Caceres, the only occupant in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

The investigation required a temporary closure of Ramona Expressway between E. Main and E. Seventh streets, which has since reopened.

The crash is under investigation.
