WILDOMAR, CA — The Southwest Riverside County Fire Safe Council will host an emergency preparedness event Wednesday in Wildomar to help residents prepare for wildfires, earthquakes, flooding and other emergencies, fire officials said.
The event is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Wildomar City Hall in the Santa Rosa Room and will feature expert speakers and community resources focused on emergency readiness, Murrieta Fire & Rescue announced on Thursday.
The event aims to help residents learn practical steps they can take to protect themselves, their families and their property before a disaster occurs.
Topics during the program will include wildfire safety, Zone 0 requirements, and emergency alert apps.
Guests at the event will include representatives from Cal Fire, "MySafe: Riverside," the "We Save California Coalition" and more.
