Average Gas Price Drops Near Elsinore For 6th Time in 8 Days

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped four-tenths of a cent Tuesday to $3.691, one day after being unchanged.

The average price has dropped six of the past eight days, decreasing 1.3 cents, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 1 cent less than one week ago but 3.3 cents more than one month ago and 72.1 cents higher than one year ago. It has risen 61.8 cents since the start of the year.
