Barn Fire Knocks Out Power In Southwest Riverside County

PERRIS, CA — A fire early Sunday damaged a barn near Perris.

Firefighters dispatched at 6:28 a.m. to 24080 Bienvenidos Road reported smoke and fire seen from the wood siding on the front of the barn, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.

The fire was contained at 7:11 a.m.

Power lines were down in the area and a Southern California Edison crew was en route to the scene.
