Being Alcoholic and my responsibility

I want to make one thing very clear. I am not perfect. I have done my dirt. But, as a person in recovery and knowing that why a person drinks and is a normal drinker...what is that. I am so sad . My ex sister in law was at the stampede in Temecula and left and crashed her car. Family has been told to say there goodbyes. My thought went straight to protective mode. What about the alcoholic who cannot save themselves and continually drinks and this devestation happens. I have been out here sine 1973 and the stampede used to be a hardware store people. Pool tables...nuts and bolts section. When our society glamorizes alcohol and is profiting from the community and the alcoholic who has fallen. How many accidents have been from leaving these establishments and when are they going to be held accountable for letting a person leave that intoxicated and profit from it. I am not condoning it. Her drinking is a problem. But when are we going to have help saving us from ourselves. I am so upset that they made money from her drinking and she is possibly not going to make it. Be upset that she cannot contribute to line their pockets. This is a controversial subject But I am pissed. I have a right to drink responsibly they have a right to serve responsibly.
