Blaze Breaks Out At Elsinore Home

Fire crews arrived Thursday to find smoke rising from the single-story residence.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA - A fire erupted Thursday in a Lake Elsinore home, damaging the structure but not injuring anyone.

The blaze was reported about 2:30 p.m. in the 31000 block of Lausanne Street, near Chaumont Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

An agency spokeswoman said five engine crews and a truck company, numbering about 20 personnel, arrived to find smoke rising from the single- story residence.

The fire was fully contained within a half-hour. The extent of the damage was not immediately known, and cause of the fire was under investigation.
