On Saturday, October the 3rd at 11:00 o’clock, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church at 111 South Kellogg Street in Lake Elsinore will be holding a Blessing of the Animals at the church to commemorate the feast day of St. Francis, patron saint of animals. You are invited to bring your pets, leashed or in a carrier, to be blessed. If you can’t bring your pet, the priest will happily bless photos. Pet-themed St. Francis medals that are designed to be added to a pet’s collar will also be available at the event for a suggested donation of $5.00.
