LAKE ELSINORE, CA — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

I am a single mom and life has not been easy for her at all. Saige has maintained between a 3.8 and a 4.0 for the past few years.

She is in ASB, travel softball, HS softball and wrestling.

She is always cheering on others in their successes. Through her struggles, she has always maintained a good spirit, attitude, and all-around good nature.

She is just a really good kid, with good morals, and just a blessing to this world.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

She carries the weight of others' problems and puts their needs before her own.
