CITY of WILDOMAR PLANNING COMMISSION VACANCY

On December 12, 2016, two vacancies will be created on the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission is comprised of five members and serves at the pleasure of the City Council. Each Council Member appoints a member to the Planning Commission, which is then voted upon by the entire City Council. These vacancies will be appointed by Mayor Bridgette Moore and the Council Member in District 2 which will be determined at the November 8, 2016 General Municipal Election and will be an appointment to a term of Office ending December, 2020. Applicants can be from anywhere in the City limits (at-large).

Planning Commissioners will be expected to make potentially significant time commitments to both learning the job of Planning Commissioner, as well as regular attendance at Planning Commission meetings. Planning Commission meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month, at 6:30 p.m. and each Planning Commissioner receives $75 per meeting attended. Qualifications for Planning Commission are:

Must be a registered voter in the City of Wildomar;

Must be a resident within the City limits of Wildomar;

Must be a resident within the City limits of Wildomar for the year immediately preceding the inception of his/her term;

and May not be an employee or officer of the City of Wildomar.
