Closure Of Riverside Drive In Lake Elsinore Begins Oct. 5

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Motorists were advised to plan ahead as eastbound Riverside Drive near Lincoln Street will be closed starting Monday, the city said.

Crews will be working overnight on eastbound Riverside Drive from Monday, Oct. 5 to Friday, Oct. 9, the city announced on Wednesday.

Travelers trying to reach Launch Pointe were advised access to the entrance is available only from eastbound Riverside Drive. Flaggers at Lake Crest Drive will direct guests to turn right into the main entrance, the city said. Motorists can exit using a driveway located farther east. Only right turns are allowed.

Motorists were advised to follow flagger directions, and drive with caution when in the area.
