What day should the City of Wildomar celebrate its birthday on.
During a discussion of this on the dais it seems no one could come to a consensus. It was either to hot, to cold, middle of the week, some else is doing it that day, too close to the 4th, I’m on vacation that week.
Who cares if we incorporated on July 1, we also voted for Cityhood on Feb 5, Donald Graham and Franklin Heald bought Rancho La Laguna in July, the first plat map was submitted in November, Margaret Colliers birthday September 20th the dates are endless, pick one.
Bottom line was they need to think about what day is best to spend $10,000 of the taxpayers money. Here’s a thought, toss the money into the pot for the Rotary BBQ prizes in April, better yet fix a pothole.
