The mission of the“Wildomar Community Parks Funding Measure Citizen’s Oversight Advisory Committee” as established by Resolution 2013-37 after passage of Measure Z by a vote of the citizens of Wildomar is to ensure that all revenues received from the voter approved “Save Wildomar Community Parks Funding Measure” (Measure Z) are only spent on permissible uses as outlined in City of Wildomar ordinance 71 and City Municipal Code Chapter 3.18
Nowhere in any of this legalese is any mention of the Oversight Committee being responsible for the accounting of monies raise and expended during fund raising events, such as Great Day of Service, Breakfast With Santa or any source other than the parcel tax.
To commingle various sources of funds raised and expended not specified by law leads to confusion in what should be a simple task which is “Is the money collected from the parcel tax being properly spent”.
