Construction Project Prompts Lane Closures On Highway 79 In RivCo Starting Aug. 17: Caltrans
Work crews will be restriping crosswalks during the closures.
WINCHESTER, CA — Construction crews will alternate lane closures in two areas on Highway 79 in Winchester beginning Aug. 17, according to Caltrans.
The closures will take place at the intersections of Scott Road and Washington Street on Aug. 17, and at State Route 79 and Garbani Road on Aug. 18.
Both closures are scheduled to occur from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. as construction crews restripe crosswalks.

Motorists were advised to watch for signage alerting them of upcoming maintenance, and to reduce their speed in and surrounding the work zone.
