Coroner IDs Perris Bicyclist After Fatal OC Crash

SANTA ANA, CA — The Orange County coroner identified a 40-year-old bicyclist fatally struck by a car in Santa Ana.

Marcos Monzon of Perris was hit by a vehicle about 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, on a Santa Ana street.

Monzon was taken to Orange County Global Medical Center where he died about two hours later.

There's no word if the driver of the vehicle was cited.

The crash was being investigated by the Santa Ana police.
