Did You Feel the Earthquake, Lake Elsinore?

The ground shook at 5:54 a.m. How strong was it at your house?

A predawn 4.2 magnitude earthquake rattled the Inland Empire awake Saturday, and was felt in the Coachella Valley, as wells as along the Pacific coast.

The earthquake was at 5:54 a.m. and was epicenter was in Fontana, about 9 miles northwest of Riverside, or 55 miles east of the Los Angeles Civic Center.

It was too small to cause damage. And was followed by three small aftershocks.

In August of 2014, the North Bay Area was rattled by 6.0 magnitude earthquake centered just six miles southwest of Napa in American Canyon.
