Dog On 91 Freeway Causes Crash

The California Highway Patrol first received reports of the white husky mix on the roadway.

CORONA, CA — A loose dog caused vehicular mayhem on the Riverside (91) Freeway Sunday, as at least two motorists crashed and other motorists stopped their cars to try to capture the poor creature as it darted in and out of traffic.

The California Highway Patrol first received reports of the white husky mix at about 3 p.m. on the westbound side of the freeway west of Maple Street.

Two cars collided when their drivers maneuvered to avoid hitting the dog, which ran up an on-ramp onto the freeway and then jumped between the westbound and the eastbound side, according to a CHP incident report.
