Driver Dead, 2 Others Seriously Injured In Lake Elsinore Crash

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A three-vehicle crash over the weekend in Lake Elsinore left one driver dead and two others in critical condition.
The crash was reported at 9:33 p.m. Sunday at Highway 74 and Trellis Lane, east of Interstate 15.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found all three drivers suffering from major injuries.

The victims were transported to local hospitals in critical condition; one driver succumbed to their injuries, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The identity of the deceased was not released pending notification of next of kin.

The crash cause remains under investigation by the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station.
No arrests were made.
