Driving through Corona? Plan ahead or expect some serious delays.

CORONA , CA - Southern California drivers who travel along the Riverside (91) Freeway in the Corona area are urged to plan ahead for the next two nights, as the major throughofare will be closed in both dirctions overnight.
As nightly closures of the eastbound side of the freeway at the Interstate 15 interchange are ongoing, the Riverside County Transportation Commission will aslo be closing the westbound side of the 91 on Wednesday and Thursday at Lincoln. Both closures are to facilitate the removal of temporary bridge supports.
The westbound 91 will be closed beginning about 11 p.m., during which time contractors will remove beams originally installed for the new Lincoln Avenue bridge, which now has permanent emplacements, according to the RCTC. During the closure, motorists will be detoured off the westbound 91 via Lincoln and immediately routed back to the freeway at the same location.
