Elsinore High School teacher Daniel Greer, 38, was honored recently for his efforts to save a choking student.
According to a report from The Press-Enterprise, during final exams this past school year a ninth-grader got a water bottle cap lodged in his throat and Greer quickly performed a Heimlich maneuver to save the student from choking further.
