Elsinore Snake Bite Victim Hospitalized, Fire Officials Report
Paramedics were called to the scene of a snake bite late Tuesday.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A person was bitten by a snake Tuesday evening in Lake Elsinore and suffered moderate injuries, fire officials report. At this time, it's still unclear if it was a rattlesnake or some other type, as officials tell Patch they've been unable to get confirmation of the species.
The bite was reported at 10:08 p.m. in the 29000 block of Edgewood Drive, said Tawny Cabral of the Riverside County Fire Department. That's in the area of Grand Avenue and McVicker Canyon Road.
"The first arriving engine company located one adult victim with a snake bite," Cabral said. "The victim was transported to an area hospital by ground ambulance in stable condition."
