Elsinore Valley Cemetery District Seeking Board Applicants

The Elsinore Valley Cemetery District is now accepting applications from residents interested in serving on its Board of Trustees.

The need for added trustees came recently when the county approved expanding the Board from three trustees to five.

The Board is currently seeking two trustees to four-year terms.

According to the district, the application process is as follows: The Board of Trustees will review all submitted applications and invite qualified candidates to interview. 

The interviews will be open to the public.

Once the interviews are complete, the Board will recommend at least two applicants to Riverside County Supervisor Kevin Jeffries. The supervisor will then make his recommendations to the county Board of Supervisors for final confirmation and appointment.
