EMWD Encourages Reusable Water Bottles With Back-to-School Gear

Eastern Municipal Water District is encouraging students to purchase a reusable water bottle along with their other back-to-school supplies.

LAKE ELSINORE-WILDOMAR, CA - From Eastern Municipal Water District: With schools back in session across the area, Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) would like to remind parents and students to include a reusable water bottle with their back-to-school supplies.

EMWD now has water bottle fill stations at more than 75 campuses throughout its service area, allowing students and teachers to easily refill water bottles and stay hydrated throughout the day – at no cost.

The water bottle fill stations are similar to drinking fountains but include an overhead filling system to easily fill reusable water bottles. EMWD actively promotes the use of refillable bottles as part of its commitment to conveying both the quality and value of tap water and environmental stewardship.
