Annual Shopping Extravaganza Benefits Local Charities

Lake Elsinore Outlets is again hosting its annual Shopping Extravaganza to support more than 20 charitable organizations in the community on Saturday, November 5.  Registration begins at 9 a.m. for this fun day when ticket holders can shop for their favorite cause from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  

The Shopping Extravaganza includes baggage check, a catered lunch by Raviolis, an Energy and Pamper Station when you need a little shopping break, exclusive shopping discounts, wine tasting, and free gift wrap.  In addition, each ticket holder will receive one entry in a drawing to win a $500 Shopping Spree, and one free entry in a raffle with $30,000 in prizes given out every half hour throughout the day.  (Winners must be present.)

Tickets are $20 each ($15 is tax deductible) with proceeds benefitting the charity of the customer’s choice, and proceeds from the $1 raffle drawings will be divided amongst the charities.  The event will benefit the American Association of University Women, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day, Canyon Lake Middle School – AVID, Childhelp, Children’s Plus Foster Family Agency, Community Connect – Riverside, Elsinore Woman’s Club,  Habitat for Humanity Inland Valley, Lake Elsinore Historical Society, Lakeside Lancer Regiment Booster, Lakeside Lancer Cheer, Make-A-Wish – Orange County and Inland Empire Chapter, Michelle’s Place – The Women’s Breast Cancer Resource Center, Oak Grove Center, Shoshana Hadassah, Soroptimist International of Moreno Valley, Temescal Canyon High School Band Boosters,  Thessalonika Family Services/Rancho Damacitas Children’s Home, American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce, Teen Challenge Ladies’ Guild, and ThinkFirst NCTV (North County/Temecula Valley).

“Lake Elsinore Outlets is a dedicated community partner and has a long history of supporting non profits,” said Kristin Elfring, General Manager of the shopping center.  “The Shopping Extravaganza is a fun day that allows the community to come together to assist a variety of local charities, while enjoying lunch, exclusive shopping incentives and much more.”

According to Elfring, Lake Elsinore Outlets has helped raise nearly $150,000 for local charities by hosting Shopping Extravaganza the past nine years.
